This is my second year with this (style) planner. I love nearly everything about it...weekly and monthly views, lots of room to write, storage pocket, tear-out lists. It's attractive and sturdy, not too big, not too small. It is hardcover and has the year printed on the spine- perfect for placing on a shelf when you are done with it. If you save your planners, this one really covers all the bases. My only complaint is about the overwhelming amount of pre-printed 'special dates'- many, many of which are unnecessary.
World Child Day. International Youth Day, International Day of the Child, Children's Day, Friendship Day, International Day of the ____, World ____ Day, etc etc. -it's pure craziness. International holidays? Sure. Religious holidays of many types? Sure. Heck- the phases of the moon = fine by me. But when entire date blocks are filled up with pre-printed 'events' - it's too much. Many, many of these events would be better left for people to write in on their own if that occasion is meaningful to them.
When I'm transferring information from my old planner to my new planner- the first thing I have to do is take correction tape to erase the sheer volume of 'special days' that have been pre-printed in my planner. Which is fine- but it's not pretty, and it pains me to do it to a new book.

2016 Owl Forest Mom Weekly Planner 18Month Calendar Family Calendar Diary Peter Pauper Press 9781441317902 Books Reviews
Its pretty and well put together, but functionally its just ok. I don't find that there is enough room in the 2 page per week planner sheets to really make the best use of it. Each square is 1 inch wide by 1/2 inch tall which is enough room to write down the time of appts/activities for each family member. If that's what you are looking for then this should work for you.
The monthly calendar has a side bar for notes and quotes about moms and families. The weekly calendar has 5 columns (only one is labeled "Mom") for each family member and breaks each day up into morning, afternoon, and evening. I love how user friendly this planner is, plus it is covered in adorable owls! )
This planner was perfect for me! With 3 kids in school all doing different extra-curricular activities, I needed something to keep up with all of it. I love how it gives the month and then the week. Allowing me to add each of my kids information to the weekly schedule helps me to know if a particular week will be lots of crockpot meals or if I will actually have time to cook! LOL! This was a great purchase!
I like the calendar. I've had one of the same calendars with a different cover on it last year, so buying it again speaks for itself. My only comment is that it is very pink and not as lavendar purple as I thought on these pictures. I'm not a pink woman, so I'll go back to another design of this same product next time.
Love this organizer! I have 3 teenagers and a hubby to keep track of and this has been the best way for me to do that. It's set up with 5 separate columns so you can list everyone's activities for the day. Also has an area for notes, lists and addresses. I personally think it would be too much for just one person because you don't need all that room.
This is a great weekly planner for any busy mom. I love the separate columns to track several family member's daily tasks and appointments. There is both a monthly calendar page, and weekly view with room to write more details. I love the notes sections that appear on some of the weekly view pages. It's easier to keep notes together than using post-it notes all over the house. I only wish that there was room for notes on all of the pages!
Love this planner, every month has a quote on it that pertains to family and most of them made me laugh a little. Size is perfect, it has the hard bound cover so will stand up to being in a bag or purse and the colors and nd space in it are perfect for what I needed.
